Charitable Involvement

An apprenticeship is a time-tested approach to training that combines classroom learning with hands on work. J & J first got involved with the State of Connecticut apprenticeship program back in 2014 when one of our machine operators expressed interest in becoming a toolmaker. After finding out what we needed to do on our end, we happily supported him as he completed his schooling and on-the-job training hours. This is a program we have found to be very useful and have continued to be involved with ever since. By investing in our talent through the apprenticeship over the years, J & J has gained a valuable pipeline of hardworking and skilled workers.
